I have lived in my house for 12 years and in that time tried many times to rearrange my living room with limited success. It's long, narrow design and limited wall space made it very difficult to make any changes. Tired of feeling frustrated, I decided to give Lori a call and see if she could help in some way. She took one look at the room and within minutes made suggestions that I never would have thought of in a million years! One of the many things I was most impressed with was Lori's ability to make this transformation on a limited budget. She made good use of things I already had in my home. Ilive in an open concept house. When you walk in the front door it is open to the kitchen, dining area and living room.
I had been frustrated since buying my home as I didn't know where to place my living furniture. I wanted it to feel homey and welcoming. I even wrote CBC to the Steven and Chris show and included some pictures. They told me too much wood on wood and from the stairs across to the electric fireplace looked like a runway!
My friend and I had a laugh and then she suggested her friend, Lori. Well, Lori came to the house, took pictures, asked what we used the space for and if there were any items that had to stay.
My husband and I left the house early the next Saturday morning to return at 4:30 that afternoon to an entirely "new home".

If there is one thing I am not very good at, it is decorating. I know pretty but sometimes just don't know how to get there, especially when it comes to decorating for Christmas.
When I learned of Lori’s new business venture I jumped at the opportunity for my home to have a little bit of love like hers. We met briefly for a consult and arranged a day for her to come.
